Quickie: Stranglehold.

It's a waste of the Unreal engine. Short of its few "That was sweet!" moments, the game's not worth playing. Definitely not worth buying. If you're really into Max Payne or are interested in short lived, mindless, occasionally frustrating fun, you might as well play Stranglehold.

Worth playing. Maybe just the demo because it will cover the best part(s) of the game.

Gotta love a game that is a rip off of every other action game out there. The most noticeably is of course max payne.

Instead of "Bullet Time" (slow motion) they use "Tequila Time" - Wow... never seen that before, but wait! It's got a different name... so it MUST be different!!!

And Tequila... what a retarded name for a protagonist! LoL part 2 his partner's name will probably be Rum or Jack Daniels or Jim Bean.

The games visuals are nice, but not great for a Xbox360 game. Why the hell do games wait until the end of a system's life to fully utilize the graphics??

The controls are way to simplistic for a next-gen game as well. All you really do is run around until your character bumps into an item that he interacts with. No jump button... hell not much thinking. Just run and gun. Some of the slow-mo sequences of bullets ripping through the baddies are enjoyable to watch , but gets old way to fast.

This game could have been a hell of a lot better, but again leave it to a production company to slap a famous person on the cover and keep pushing the crap... but hey the people will buy it!

By the way if you want to review systems that keep pushing out the crap - take a gander at the Wii and DS. Nintendo is letting way too many developers push out crap...

I'm sure that will be brought up in another post ;)

What are you reviewing games now?

I agree with the Nintendo comment to an extent. Nintendo definitely has a hold on the market that continues to buy the games they're letting flood on to their consoles. As long as they keep pushing their first party classics, I'll keep loving Nintendo.

They definitely know what they're doing.

PS. Stranglehold's visuals SUCKED! Did you look at the faces?
